Runnin' in the wind!

As I've said before, I'm thrilled that Cammie has been running Cross Country for Lakeshore. She has improved so much. This week, they competed up in northern part of the county....beautiful country up there. And...a lovely, very breezy day for a race!

That's Cammie about a third through the race. They run two miles in Middle School ( three in high school).

This is Cami Couch crossing the finish line. A girl was heel to heel with Cami and those of us who know Cami know that you just don't do that. Right, Cami? Of course, Cami beat her and came in second place for the girls from three teams.

These are our friends, Kris and Teresa Couch, Cami's parents. Something about these two....both retired police officers from Charlotte and he's a black belt....both very fit....and he's a bodyguard and yet he's just plain SKEERT of me. Why is that Kris? 'Cause I have my own black (leather) belt in "HIYI CHOPPEEEEE"!!! It's okay...I won't hurt ya.

Race is done...Lakeshore wins both girls and boys. Go Team. Sorry ya'll had to stare into the sunshine girls. I'm such a photograghic genius!
