Girls' Trip, 2011

Christal and I headed out of town on Wednesday to get some much needed girl time. We arrived in Pigeon Forge around lunch and left around lunch on Saturday. We had a total blast. The cabin we stayed in was 'to die for' and the beauty that surrounded us was just amazing. Here's our trip in photos!

And.....cheers to us! This particular location is where we stayed most of the time. We shopped a little, but the cabin beckoned our presence!!

Okay, okay...we did get out of bathing suits and into normal clothes for dinner....one of our favorites this particular night...The Mellow Mushroom....which we tend to hit if there's one in the town that we have happened upon!

Meet "Maurice"....he's our cabin mascot. We were listening to Usher when we were trying to come up with a name for him and couldn't think of an appropriate name. Thomas called about this time and came up with the name.....the Usher-like name.

March Madness

March has come in like a lion, and speaking of March Madness.....Carolina is truly maddening with their gazillion turnovers in the ACC tournament. Here's hoping they'll do better in the NCAA! Thomas and I got to see a game a few weeks ago at the Dean Dome. That place is amazing. I love it! We also got to see the basketball museum and eat at our favorite place, 411 West. At one time, I had pictures to post, but after an hour of searching, it is apparent that you don't get to see those......so...................on to more March stuff!! Thomas and Camryn celebrated birthdays on March 6th and March 7th, respectively. Thomas turned 46 and my oldest baby turned 14! Oh goodness, where has the time gone? La Patisserie Cakes............to die for!!

Brooke has truly enjoyed this beautiful weather. This is her "perch". She loves to get up on the roof of the shed to talk on the phone or just chill out. I know, I know.....what kind of Mom would let her kids do that...................................hhhmmmmm, a cool one, perhaps?!! haha!

And, of course you have to have 'umbrella' drinks if the temperature is above 70!! Just sayin'.....

Cammie starts her softball games tomorrow, so I'll post on that later and I will be in Pigeon Forge with Christal for the better part of this week. I'll definitely post on that too. But for now, take a look at this, even though it's a little blurry.......Lord, Lord, I know you can't find anything cuter!!!

AND, BY THE WAY, I HAVE NO IDEA WHY THE PICTURE AT THE TOP IS THE SIZE OF TEXAS. I CAN'T GET IT TO GO BACK TO NORMAL! OH WELL!
