Our annual trek to Cherry Grove this year brought lots of smiles and a new adventure...parasailing. We had a blast with the family and wonderful moments have now turned into happy memories. I found the following at my favorite store up in Calabash. It suits me to a tee...being that I'm the beach bum of the crowd.
The beach..the pull of the beach beckons me...I dig my bare toes in the warm sand...the salt breeze ruffles my hair...scrubs me clean...quiets my heart...until the rhythm of the waves..matches the sound of my own heart...winding down...calming...soothing...simple breathing...in and out..like the tides.

Boogie boarding is a favorite thing to do for us....the waves were huge on Sunday and Monday, and a little too rough Tuesday.

And last, but certainly not least....our adventure on water and in air...parasailing. It's a perfect wonder I didn't puke or pass out in the air. It ended up being great fun!!
