Hangin'..........

with the girls. These are some of my best buddies in Mooresville. We're lacking a couple in this picture to fulfill the whole group. Anyhoo, it sure is fun to hang with them for a while.
This is at J.J. Wasabi's in downtown Mooresville. The new restaurant opened a couple of weeks ago and it is delicious. It is the sister restaurant to Joel's Asian Grill, which is on my side of town.
And this,

.....is Joel.

Other stuff going on....this is what Brooke and her buddy, Savannah did one afternoon after school. They drew 23 figures on our street with chalk, all in different poses. It was so cute. Looked very urban-ish!!

THE SECOND ANNUAL................

see-if-you-can-still-do-this-since-you're-now-over-40 TOE TOUCH!!!

Yay....I passed the test...at least on the trampoline. It would have been a different story if I had been on the ground!!!

And these two, of course, are just upside down, all around monkies anyway.

The Show!

Straight from Broadway to Charlotte, NC came the show, Jersey Boys. I took Mom to see it this past Thursday during the day after a nice lunch at Jeffries here in Mooresville. This was her early Mother's Day present. It was the BEST show ever, and portrayed the story of how Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons came to be. The characters not only looked just like the original band, but sounded so good. We had so much fun. I knew alot of the words to the songs, but Mom...well, she knew all of them. My favorite song......December 1963. Remember....."Oh what a night, late December back in '63". All of them were Mom's favorites!

And other stuff going on......the end of softball.

Cammie and Izzy.

On third.

Brooke and Skylar "hanging out" off the back of the bleachers, catching a glimpse of the game every now and then.

Chimney Rock!

We stopped at Chimney Rock to hike on Saturday before heading on in to Mom's. Greg met us with his kids, and off we went. What a beautiful day to be outdoors, and man..what a workout!
The kids wanted to rock climb on this.............don't think so.

Not far into the hike and a pose was necessary, of course.

It was a little overcast that day, but the view of Lake Lure was incredible.

The Lower Falls.

That's my boy.....being a boy....playing on the rocks at the bottom of the water fall.
