It's been a long time since I posted anything.... not for lack of desire, but for lack of anything to post except ice and slush and more of the same. But, as this beautiful spring weather springs forward, more frequent posts will appear. Cammie has softball starting and Brooke has her Odyssey of the Mind competition coming up. In the meantime, let me show you some cute stuff. Brookie was asked by her drama teacher to do a photo shoot. Her teacher has worked on Broadway and has a plethura of credentials, including her licensure to agent. That's right...she really wanted Brooke to have some pictures taken, with hopes of possibly doing some modeling and/or commercials. Now, granted, none of that may work out and that's perfectly fine with us, but Brookie had a ball taking these pictures. Magen, of Magen Marie Photography, was requested to do the shots. She's young and vibrant and really good. She took 275 shots. I'm only posting 8 or ten, but you can get the idea. Hopefully, Cammie will do hers in a couple of weeks.
We put Brookie in a Carolina t-shirt and her hair in a ponytail for a few fun shots...in memory of my Daddy. Would love to see her in a Carolina magazine or something. Now, wouldn't Daddy be grinning?
Magen realized we were matching and had to take a couple of shots of us. The breeze was blowing (my hair) and I wasn't prepared for pictures, but anyway....here we are.
